Readers love color

In 1990 Pegie Stark Adam, The Poynter Institute showed with her Study on Newspaper Design that color is a powerful tool attraction the reader into the page and helping the eye travel from place to place. In addition, readers said that they liked color and they believed that color gave them more information than the less colorful pages.
