The website of the german magazine “Stern” came out on top in the accessibiltiy test wich was realized by the project “barrierefrei Informieren und Kommunizieren (BIK)”. They tested 14 major daily newspapers and magazines if they are unrestricted accessible to disabled internet users. The testing method is based on the BITV – the offical german accessibility decree for websites.
In Summary the Tester describe the results as “dissappointing”. Only a few websites are fully accessible to disabled users.
